NDSU 扩展 4-H青年发展 invites you to gather new ideas to create fun learning experiences for all 4-H members. Join us for an evening to build your skills as a 4-H teen or adult volunteer, 父母/照顾者或扩展专业人员.

阶段1: (Participants will choose one workshop for each session)

  Tired of doing the same things over and over at club meetings? 从三叶草到大一点的青少年, discover treasures that will add zest to any club meeting and appeal to youth of all ages. Come ready to add to your treasure chest, making your 4-H club meeting one youth choose to attend.
• X Marks the Spot for 4-H Livestock Camps and Clinics
  Are your 4-H’ers overboard with excitement about having a livestock clinic/camp, 但你会感到迷茫? 让我们起锚扬帆吧! Together we will navigate the choppy waters of wants, needs and crazy ideas to help chart a map pointed directly at treasure. This will be a working session where you will leave with a plan that’s all shipshape.

  Are you looking for short science or engineering activities to kick start your club meetings? We will walk through a few activities in a problem-solving activity guide to expand your box of treasures and engage your buccaneering club members.

• I’m Marooned on a Deserted Island with No Vittles to Speak of. 要是我有个太阳能披萨烤箱就好了
  The sun was important to pirates, 因为它是光和热的来源. Participants will learn about the power of the sun and make their own solar pizza box oven. As a group, we will discuss other items you can make with your 4-H members.

  把舱口封好. 你很快就会发现这是一个公平的季节. Get your booty on over to this session so you can avoid blowing this cannon out of proportion. We will make learning and understanding FairEntry as easy as swabbing the deck with two good hands. Get ready to plunder through and come out a master on the high seas.
• 植物喂!! Introducing Your Club to the Wondrous World of Plants
  Plants touch so many aspects of our daily lives -- from agriculture to gardening to landscaping to unknown future uses. Participants will engage in an activity they can take back to their clubs to spark an interest in plant science that can lead to additional opportunities in 4-H and beyond.
